Our journey began with Deol Accounting in 2004, providing tax and accounting services to individuals and small businesses throughout Surrey, British Columbia on a part-time basis.
While building Deol Accounting, founder Luke Deol, CPA gained invaluable hands-on experience working in progressively senior accounting roles within industry, developing expertise in financial reporting, corporate taxation, bookkeeping, payroll, and business advisory services.
This combination of practical industry experience and direct client service laid the foundation for the trusted, client-focused approach that continues today through Liberty Accounting.

Our family is deeply proud of our grandfather, Gyani Bachan Singh, who was a freedom fighter during India’s struggle for independence under British rule. His courage, resilience, and dedication to justice continue to inspire us today.
We are equally proud of his academic achievements. In 1935, he earned his Gyani (Honours) in Punjabi Language and Literature from The University of the Panjab, a distinguished accomplishment during a time when higher education was a privilege attained by very few. His passion for learning, culture, and education left a lasting legacy that continues through future generations.

My grandparents from both my father’s and mother’s sides played a remarkable role in shaping our family’s values. My proud mother and father later raised a loving family of eight children, where we were taught the importance of integrity, kindness, respect, and helping others. Growing up in such a close-knit family taught me the value of hard work, staying humble, and treating every person with care and dignity.

In 1985, my family was blessed with the opportunity to immigrate to Canada through the generosity and support of my eldest brother and sister-in-law, who sponsored our family to begin a new life here. I will always be deeply grateful for their love, sacrifice, and belief in our future. Canada gave our family incredible opportunities, and I take great pride in helping other individuals, families, and businesses succeed financially in this country we now proudly call home.
